Sorry, But Those Old Cushions Have To leave!
I understand it is hard to let go of things that you once bought with all your heart. But, I promise, if you follow the lead of this jobless blogger, your bedroom will become a cleaner and more relaxing space. All you need to do is to trust me and toss these things out of your bedroom once and for all. Trust me, these are surely not a part of bedroom essentials.
That Work Area
It is ALWAYS a bad idea to have a workspace in the bedroom. Your bedroom is the space to relax and unwind, not to work. So, do yourself a favour by moving your work desk to some other room in the house.
One way to test if your cushions still deserve a place in your bedroom is by folding them in half and seeing if they spring back in shape. If they don’t, the time has come to shop for a replacement.
Pick a carton and gather all those things that are lying unused and unnoticed around the room. Remember, a cluttered space leads to poor sleep and anxiety.
That Pile of Books
I understand that you might be a bibliophile but keeping all your books in the bedroom is a bad idea. Books are a great conversation starter, so keep them where guests usually hang out – the living room. Make a habit of keeping only that book you are reading right now.
I am sure you don’t want your random friends to have a look at your dirty clothes. So, keep that laundry basket either in the backup or the laundry room.
Did I Mention Scented Candles?
Even I have a fetish for scented candles; but, what’s the point when you are not even using them? Toss all those candles that have been sitting on your vanity since eternity.
I am sure, they are just sitting there and collecting dust, nothing else.
Those Unused Clothes
There is no point piling up clothes in your wardrobe and filling it up to the brim. If you have not tried them on in six months, give them to someone who will wear them.
These things surely are not a part of the bedroom essentials, so remove these items to make your room look heavenly and clutter free.
